Plot Factory Studios is a rebuild of Plot Factory designed from the ground up with collaborative features in mind. We've kept the core of what made Plot Factory great, we modernized it, improved it, and added many more features.

The legacy version of Plot Factory will remain up and running.

Workspaces & Collaboration

You can now collaborate with others with workspaces. Workspaces are the home for your projects, stories and content. You can invite others as collaborators and readers and work together to create something amazing. Read more about workspaces and collaboration here.

Themes

We offer a selection of genre based themes for setting the mood for your sessions. We offer the following themes: the default theme, Twilight, Sepia, Solar, Forest, and Medieval.

Customizable Collections

In the previous version, you were limited to only characters, places, objects and elements to manage your world's content. If you wanted a "cultures" collection, you weren't able to do so. With Plot Factory Studios, you can now create your own collection types and customize them to your needs.

How do I migrate from the old version?

To migrate, log into your plotfactory.com account, and you will see in the left menu and main dashboard links to the migration tool. In just a few clicks your data will be migrated over.

Notes:

• If you already have an account on the old version and want to copy your data over, please use the migration tool rather than creating an account through the standard registration page.
• Once your data is copied, there will be no syncing of data between your old and new apps.

What about my current subscription?

As our pricing structure has changed, if you wish to migrate, you will need to unsubscribe from the old version, and resubscribe to the new one. If there are any billing issues or questions, please do not hesitate to contact us or email us at [email protected].
